Welcome

We hope to provide a compass to guide you back to wholeness, “A compass is a key tool for journey into the unknown. A compass offers direction to shelter, to water, to a new view. We want Jesus to be your trusted guide, your compass in this journey to wholeness.”
This journey is not an easy one, but you are taking an important step towards healing and recovery.

Coram Deo
One of the exercises in the Compass sessions is reflecting Coram Deo. Coram Deo is a Latin term that means “in the presence of God.”The most important aspect of working through each session is ensuring God is a part of your process. When you invite the Lord into the Pain of betrayal it’s going to be difficult, but Jesus wants to be with you on your journey to understanding and personal healing.

He doesn’t expect you to do this alone! Reflecting Coram Deo also allows the Lord to transform your pain which ultimately affects your ongoing restoration.

The Daily Examen
The Daily Examen is a spiritual practice adapted from Ignatius Loyola’s Spiritual Exercises. It is a prayerful reflection of the events of your day so you can see where God was present with you and discern His direction. The Daily Examen has five steps,

  • Become aware of God’s presence.
  • Review the day with gratitude.
  • Pay attention to your emotions.
  • Choose one feature of the day and pray from it.
  • Look toward tomorrow.
